B&H Specialty Construction is a Sarasota-based general contractor specializing in high-end custom homes, major renovations, and select commercial projects throughout Sarasota, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, and the surrounding Gulf Coast communities.

We are seeking an experienced Working Superintendent to lead field operations from project mobilization through completion. This role is responsible for jobsite leadership, schedule management, quality control, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, and daily project execution. The ideal candidate anticipates problems before they impact the schedule, maintains high standards without sacrificing efficiency, and takes ownership of every aspect of the project.
Responsibilites
- Lead all field operations from mobilization through punch list completion
- Manage project schedules and identify potential delays before they impact progress
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries
- Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Maintain proactive communication with project management regarding progress, risks, and solutions
- Submit daily reports documenting labor, progress, deliveries, safety, and outstanding items
- Coordinate inspections and permitting requirements
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain organized, professional jobsites
- Represent B&H professionally with clients, inspectors, architects, vendors, and trade partners
qualifications
- 7+ years of residential and/or commercial construction experience
- Proven experience leading job sites as a Superintendent, Foreman, or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA safety knowledge and enforcement experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Compensation
- $90,000–$120,000 annually, based on experience
